Our stance

We use the local preferences and Cloudflare Web Analytics measurement described below. No advertising tool or advertising profiling is installed.

Audience measurement

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, enabled by our hosting provider. Its script measures visits and loading performance. This tool does not set measurement cookies and is not used for advertising profiling. No Google Analytics or Plausible is loaded.

Audience measurement is separate from the technical logs maintained by the hosting provider to operate and secure the service.

Any change of tool or purpose will be described on this page. Contact and signup form contents are not transmitted to the analytics tool.

What we use

Local storage (localStorage)

To remember your preferences between visits:

  • ynelys.theme — your light / dark preference
  • ynelys.lang — your language preference (FR / EN)

This data is never sent to our servers and stays on your device.

Technical cookies

No cookies are set at this stage. The waitlist signup and contact form work without session cookies, via a direct call to our self-hosted backend on Cloudflare Workers. Anti-bot verification uses Cloudflare Turnstile (invisible challenge, no cookie), and email delivery is handled by Resend.

Under CNIL guidance (17 September 2020), no consent is required for trackers strictly necessary to provide a service. Theme and language preferences fall within that category.

If that changes

Before adding trackers that require your consent, we will provide a clear choice, with refusal as easy as acceptance.

Controlling this data

At any time you can:

  • Clear your browser's localStorage (via privacy settings)
  • Use a private browsing window so nothing persists between sessions
  • Configure your browser to block all local storage

Third-party services

The typefaces used on this site (Manrope, Instrument Serif) are self-hosted on ynelys.com. No third-party CDN request, no data transmitted to Google Fonts or any other external provider.
